What made this project a success?
My name is Michelle McGuire, and I’m Head of Capability with Queensland Country Bank, a mutual bank here in Queensland, Australia. My role is to ensure our staff have the right tools and capability to work effectively across the wide range of systems we use every day.
What made you choose Lemon Learning?
It was actually an easy choice. At the heart of Lemon Learning is the focus on great user experience and simplicity. Compared with other applications we had considered—which felt technical, process-driven, and even daunting—Lemon Learning stood out for its ease of use. It enabled us to get up and running quickly, create learning guides ourselves, and start seeing a return on investment straight away.
Can you describe how you use Lemon Learning in your work?
We’ve been working with Lemon Learning for around 18 months.
Today, we use it across our HRIS, expense management system, and staff intranet. This helps our employees access policies, procedures, and system features directly in-context, while learning at their own pace.
We’ve even created our own digital adoption mascot, “Leon – lean on me,” who has become the face of our in-app guidance across systems. This approach not only improves onboarding and daily efficiency, but also prepares staff for our future digital enhancements, including a new CRM and loan origination system.

Lemon Learning is an easy-to-use, personalised platform that empowers our staff to learn and adopt systems quickly, without needing technical specialists.
