The challenge

A new tool to deploy across a franchise network, where initial training is never enough.

INTERSPORT is one of the world’s leading sporting-goods retailers, organised as a network of franchised stores. From its Academy, the team manages the deployment of a new sales-planning and workforce-management tool for stores — a rollout that has to land with two very different audiences: independent store owners and the store teams on the floor.

With new tools constantly being introduced, initial training simply isn’t enough. It takes time to get to grips with a new system, and a classroom session months ago doesn’t help when someone hits a specific step for the first time. Questions pile up on the hotline, and users risk dropping the tool altogether.
