The challenge

Roll out a new patient management system to 66 sites in 30 months, without disrupting care.

Ramsay Health Care is a healthcare group operating across 66 sites. It set out to replace an older system with a new tool for managing patient admissions and billing stays, standardising processes across every site in the process.

The hard constraint was time. The rollout had to reach all 66 sites in just 30 months, alongside development work to standardise those processes. Training 1,500 administrative and nursing staff on that timeline, without slowing down day-to-day care, was the core challenge.

Classroom training alone could not keep pace, and the tools are used intensively and continuously, including in emergency settings. Staff needed support that stayed available after the initial training and kept knowledge current as people joined or changed roles.
