Stop training users before the work. Guide them while they do it.

Step-by-step assistance inside the enterprise apps your teams already use: Salesforce, Workday, Oracle, Microsoft 365 and more. Instead of documentation or training sessions, employees get contextual guidance as they perform real tasks.

The problem

Software training shouldn't happen outside the application.

Employees are trained before they start using a system. By the time a real task shows up, much of that knowledge is gone, and the help they need is somewhere else.

Training fades fast

People are trained weeks before they touch the system. By day seven most of a classroom session is already forgotten.

Documentation breaks the flow

Portals and PDFs exist, but leaving the task to find them slows everyone down. So people guess instead of searching.

Support becomes the fallback

When help isn't in the moment, the question escalates. The same questions reach your helpdesk every single week.

Processes drift

Without guidance at the point of action, every user does the task a little differently. Your data, reports and audits pay for it.

The solution

Guides put the next step where the work happens.

From a single action to a full business process, a guide takes employees through every step, right inside the app they already use.

Build structured workflows

Create walkthroughs that guide employees through complete processes, from simple actions to complex business workflows.

Trigger guidance when it matters

Guides launch from the Lemon Learning menu, from contextual prompts within the interface, or automatically based on user behaviour.

Interactive step-by-step actions

Each step directs users to click an element, navigate a page or enter information, so the process is completed correctly.

How it works

Spot. Build. Ship.

Three steps to put a guide on every process that needs one. No developers, no change to your software.

1

Spot where users get stuck.

Find the processes that cause the most hesitation: onboarding flows, rarely-used modules, error-prone tasks. Start with the handful that drive most of the confusion.

Build the guide without code.

Open the Lemon editor on top of the live app, click through the right path once, and the guide is built. Write it once in your source language; Lemon delivers it in theirs.

Frequently asked

Interactive Guides FAQs.

What's the difference between a guide and a tooltip?+
A tooltip is one piece of information attached to one element: a field, a button, a menu. A guide is a step-by-step walkthrough that takes the user through a complete process. Use guides when users need to follow a sequence, tooltips when they need quick clarification on a single point. The two work together: a tooltip can even launch a guide for users who need to go deeper.
How long does it take to build a guide?+
A non-technical content owner is usually productive on the Lemon editor within three hours. You open the editor on top of the live application, click through the path the guide should follow, and write each step. No coding, and no change to the underlying software.
Which applications do guides work on?+
Over 300 business applications out of the box: SaaS tools like Salesforce, Workday, Oracle and Microsoft 365, in-house web apps, and desktop applications including SAP GUI and other thick clients. The editor and the end-user experience are the same regardless of the underlying technology.
Can a guide adapt to different user roles?+
Yes. The same guide can branch by role, department, region or language. A manager and an approver can see different steps on the same screen, and a French user sees French content while a Spanish user sees Spanish. You target who sees what without building a separate guide for each audience.
Do we need IT or developers to deploy guides?+
No. Guides sit on top of your application through the Lemon layer, so your L&D and Ops teams build and publish them without raising an IT ticket and without modifying the software. IT stays in control of the rollout, but doesn't have to build the content.
How do we measure if guides are working?+
Built-in analytics show how often each guide runs, completion rates and where users drop off. Combine that with your own signals: fewer support tickets on the related process, faster onboarding, more consistent data. METRO, for example, cut support tickets by 80% after deploying guides on SAP S/4HANA.
