Two new software tools, long data entry and costly errors.

OPPBTP has used Lemon Learning for several years (read the first story). In 2026, the organisation completely changed CRM, leaving Microsoft Dynamics, then straight away replaced its training management software with Dendreo. Two major changes in the same year, for 350 employees.

The real obstacle is data entry. Users keep saying it: every new process adds clicks. Three processes accounted for most of the lost time and errors.

Creating an opportunity: title, product range, product, signature date, then looking up the right project code on a cheat sheet, in a list users called "astronomical". This code feeds the national indicators: one error means everyone has to review and approve again.

Creating a contact: everything is copied by hand from emails, 10 to 15 records a day, and one address in two contains a typo.

Creating a training quote: a process each advisor only runs once or twice a month. They print it out to remember it, and the slightest badly formatted field blocks the quote from being sent in the training management tool.
