How Rent A Car turned high turnover into independent learning.
With counter staff turning over every three months, Rent A Car embedded guidance straight into its booking software, equipping 1,200 employees across 500 branches to onboard fast and find answers on their own.

Train an ever-renewing front line on the booking software, faster than they leave.
Rent A Car is one of France's largest car-rental networks, with around 1,200 employees across 500 branches. Counter staff run the business on an in-house booking ERP, quotes, reservations, contracts, the tool every customer interaction flows through.
Strong post-COVID growth amplified a structural problem: high staff turnover, with counter teams renewing roughly every three months. Classic training couldn't keep pace: by the time someone was trained, they were already moving on, and the next hire was starting from zero.
Knowledge was also scattered: an intranet, dispersed training tools and PDF documents that nobody could find in the moment. Rent A Car needed independent, in-context learning built into the software itself, so any employee, day one or year ten, could find the right step without calling support.
« With a turnover cycle of three months for our counter staff, having a tool that enables independent learning was essential. »

One in-app layer for everything: guides, pushes, tooltips and AI on top.
The Lemon Learning team came on-site to observe branch operations directly, then built guides for the key processes: creating a quote, making a reservation, generating a contract. The result simplified access to information for every employee, whatever their seniority.
From there the layer grew into Rent A Car's single source of truth: weekly pushes to broadcast key updates, contextual tooltips for in-the-moment help, and an emerging AI virtual assistant answering common questions across 3,450 procedures, retiring the intranet and scattered tools along the way.
