Rent A Car is one of France’s largest car-rental networks, with around 1,200 employees across 500 branches. Counter staff run the business on an in-house booking ERP — quotes, reservations, contracts — the tool every customer interaction flows through.
Strong post-COVID growth amplified a structural problem: high staff turnover, with counter teams renewing roughly every three months. Classic training couldn’t keep pace — by the time someone was trained, they were already moving on, and the next hire was starting from zero.
Knowledge was also scattered: an intranet, dispersed training tools and PDF documents that nobody could find in the moment. Rent A Car needed independent, in-context learning built into the software itself, so any employee — day one or year ten — could find the right step without calling support.
