How Forvis Mazars trained 4,500 employees without a single PowerPoint.
In an industry built on healthy but high turnover, the global audit and consulting firm replaced its 80-slide onboarding decks with in-app guidance, deployed across seven core applications including Salesforce, ServiceNow and Cegid Loop.
► Interview
Onboard auditors and consultants at the pace of the business, not the pace of a slide deck.
Forvis Mazars is a global audit and consulting firm. Internally, IT training used to run through a single dedicated IT trainer who onboarded new hires with 80-slide PowerPoint presentations. In an environment marked by healthy but high turnover, that format had become obsolete: too rigid, too slow to maintain, and a poor fit for a generation used to the fluidity of digital tools.
When that trainer left the company, the IT team took the opportunity to rethink the approach entirely. The goal became simple: train users directly inside the tools, at the moment they need help, not days later in a meeting room.
The challenge was also one of scope. With Salesforce, ServiceNow, Cegid Loop, Acuteo, CJ DeLoupe, an absence management tool and a procurement application all in daily use, no PDF library was going to keep up.
« Our internal training method had become obsolete. The 80-slide PowerPoint format was no longer effective, and it was poorly suited to a generation accustomed to the fluidity of digital technology. »
Mohamed Zinbi Deputy CIO, Forvis Mazars
A POC on 50 users that scaled to seven applications, with a hybrid content model.
Forvis Mazars started with a focused proof of concept on its procurement application (USE): 50 users, a handful of guides, real-world conditions. The feedback was strong enough to greenlight the broader rollout. Lemon Learning is now live across seven core applications, including Salesforce, Acuteo, ServiceNow, CJ DeLoupe and Cegid Loop.
Content production runs on a hybrid model: complex guides are co-built with Lemon Learning’s team through contracted projects, while two trained internal owners handle day-to-day creation and updates. The result is real agility — even on complex tools, new content ships in around two weeks.

Fewer support tickets, more autonomous users, and onboarding that travels at the speed of the firm.
« We’ve observed a significant decrease in support requests from project management and support teams. Users are more autonomous and theoretical questions have decreased considerably. »
Mohamed Zinbi Deputy CIO, Forvis Mazars
« We quickly saw the benefits: faster training, higher adoption, and excellent feedback from our teams. Lemon Learning is now part of our core applications. »
